The ANCIENT GEEKS at P and P
Dear P and Pians:
This week we offer you an especially precocious treat as Prague’s most infamous underage writers take our stage. On Sunday, April 22, with great pleasure and admiration P and P welcomes the ANCIENT GEEKS!!
Aged just 10-13, the ANCIENT GEEKS are the most inspirational and talented young writers you’re likely ever to come across. These pint-sized poets have been writing together since September 2005 and are already seasoned performers, having given readings of their work at Shakespeare and Sons, the Petrovich Club, and at the 2006 Prague Fringe Theatre Festival. They will be returning to the Fringe this year, by popular demand, with their show CHICKENSOCKS. With poems about loneliness and love, to jellyfish and headless chickens, the ANCIENT GEEKS will make you laugh, they’ll make you cry, but most of all they’ll make you wish you could be a GEEK! With special guest appearances from rising stars the JUNIOR SHAKESPEARES - even younger than the GEEKS, and just as lovable!

The GEEKS will be followed by an open mic of poetry and music, as usual. Please note that out of respect for the young, healthy lungs of our guests, P and P will be smoke free this week.
