For those of you who could use a break in the hectic rush to get everything ready for Christmas, we give you “A User’s Guide to Sexual Frustration“. For four nights, Vsebaracnicka rychta (Trziste 23, just up the hill from the American Embassy) will be treated to, as the Prague Post puts it, a “standup group therapy” session. Gregory Fuller has adapted and translated Professor Bernhard Ludwig’s 9-year hit into English for a world premier performance. Don’t miss this show. Seriously. Give yourself the gift that you will use again and again, not just this year, but throughout your whole life.

We’re going to have the first meeting of the Playhouse Musical Ensemble this Sunday from 13:00 - 17:00 at Cafe Montmartre, Retezova 7. Anyone who is interested should stop by ready to sing (we’re going to be trying people out for the regular group). The aim of the group is to get together and sing songs from musicals (everything from Gershwin to Webber to Sondheim to Weil) with the eventual goal of staging full musicals.
We have gotten a great response from several experienced singers and we are really looking forward to singing!
If you have questions you can contact me at 608 577 012 or brian@pragueplayhouse.com or Brendan at aikenpayne@yahoo.com.
