Divadlo Miloco continues it’s non-verbal post-apocalyptic love story / multimedia adventure.

Alternating between live performance and video, La Machine tells the story of Hurtus and Lili, two survivors of disaster, desperately trying to keep living in near-impossible circumstances.

Directed by Daniel Brown, this original multi-media performance explores the desperation of two souls in love and living in a dystopic near-future.
February 14 and March 25 at Divadlo Komedie. 19:30 – 21:00.

Largely ignored in the theatre, science fiction is genre that closely addresses anxieties and concerns about our world at present. La Machine is not the science fiction of spaceships and aliens, but rather extrapolative fiction – asking questions about our current world, the direction it is taking and how we can remain human and hopeful when so much appears so bleak.

Miloco is a theatre ensemble based in Prague, Czech Republic, dedicated to creating new and challenging physical theatre. The current company consists of artists from across Europe and the America. Duration of performance 80 min.
